ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY AT DHOLEWAL MILITARY COMPLEX FROM MARCH 10 ONWARDS

19030 YOUTH APPLY ONLINE FOR THIS ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY

Ludhiana, February 26, 2019: The army recruitment rally for youth four districts namely Ludhiana, Moga, Rupnagar and Ajitgarh (Mohali) would be organised at Army Recruitment Office, Dholewal Complex, Ludhiana from March 10-18, 2019. This recruitment rally would be organised for posts of soldier (general duty), soldier technical, soldier (clerk/storekeeper technical), soldier nursing assistant and soldier tradesman. The process of online registration has already completed.

Recruiting Medical Officer with Director Recruiting Major Praveen Jairajan informed that for this army recruitment rally, a total of 19030 youth from four districts have applied online.

He informed that this recruitment would be done Tehsil wise for the above mentioned four districts. On March 10, physical examination and eligibility test would be carried for candidates from Tehsil’s Khanna, Payal and Ludhiana (East), on March 11 for Tehsils Samrala, Raikot, Jagraon and Ludhiana (West), on March 12 for Tehsils Nihal Singh Wala, Bagha Purana and Moga of district Moga, on March 13 for Tehsils Rupnagar and Sri Anandpur Sahib of district Rupnagar, on March 14 for Tehsils Nangal and Chamkaur Sahib of district Rupnagar, all Tehsils of district Ajitgarh (Mohali) and youth from other districts.

The candidates who clear the physical examination and eligibility test, their medical examination would be done the next day and necessary documents would be received from the successful candidates. These documents include certificates issued by the education department, Aadhaar card, residence and caste certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM, character certificate issued from school/college, unmarried certificate issued by the village sarpanch/district administration (including photographs and certificate should not be more than 6 month old), no claim certificate certified by parents in case the candidate is less than 18 years of age, NCC certificates, sports certificates, proof of being member of ex-serviceman family, and other necessary documents. The date of the common entrance test would be informed at the time of screening.

Major Jairajan has appealed to the candidates to reach before 3 am on their test dates. He said that the candidates can also download their admit cards from website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, and warned that strict action would be taken against those who submit forged documents.
