6th Battalion of the Sikh Light Infantry organising a Contact Programme for Ex-Servicemen and Veer Naris today at Ferozpur location.
Jalandhar/Ferozepur, July 21, 2013: 6th Battalion of the Sikh Light Infantry organised a Contact Programme for Ex-Servicemen and Veer Naris today at Ferozpur location.
About 250 ESM including 50 Veer Naris of unit attended the programme. Everybody praised the efforts being undertaken by 6 Sikh LI (Kalidhar) unit to reach out to all its ESM and Veer Naris.
The ESM also shared their experiences of 1965 and 1971 battles.
In the end, the invitation for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations on October 1, 2013 was extended to all.
Tea and snacks were catered for everybody.
Next ESM and Veer Naris contact programme will be conducted at Jalandhar on July 22, 2013.
