Architects Honored In NATCON

Ludhiana, December 11, 2016: A delegation of Architects lead by Ar.Sanjay Goel Chairman of IIA Chandigarh Punjab Chapter and Director Ludhiana Smart City Ltd participated in Annual National Convention of Architects held in Bangalore.
NATCON is the biggest Annual National Event of Architects, which is held every year in different state capitals of India.
Architects who were given certificate of merit from the Chapter included Pritpal Singh Alhuwalia, Arpan Aggarwal and Lokesh Gupta for their outstanding contribution throughout the year. NATCON was also attended by Architects Yogesh Singla, Niranjan Kumar, Balbir Bagga, Rajinder Sandhu and Arvinder Atwal.
Ar. Sanjay Goel was recognized and honored by IIA National President and office bearers on his nomination in Ludhiana Smart City Ltd. as Director. Mr. Goel is the first Architect in India who was nominated in any of the SPV. The theme of the conference was imagining the Indian Cities and it was further divided into 6 sections during 3 days. The experts were not only from India but from all over the globe.
The main speakers for the conference included Rahul Mehrotra from Mumbai, Alfredo Brillembourg from Venezuela, Tatjana Schneider from Sheffield University, Dhiru A. Thadani from Washington, Franz Ziegler from Rotterdam and Saskia Sassen from Columbia University.
