ARCHITECTS CELEBRATE WORLD HABITAT DAY & ANNOUNCED SMART BUILDING MATERIAL EXHIBITION

Ludhiana, October 3, 2016: The leading Architects of Ludhiana under the banner of IIALC celebrated World Habitat Day. It was attended by Office bearers, Executive Members & other leading Architects of Ludhiana. Team IIALC is going to celebrate World Habitat Day for the whole week starting from 3rd-10th October. This day is celebrated to take a moment to consider the potential of architecture in transforming the lives of human beings across the Globe.
Ar. Sanjay Goel, Chairman of Chandigarh-Punjab Chapter and Director of Ludhiana Smart City Ltd., in his inaugural speech explained the importance of Art & Architecture with respect to World Habitat Day. He further explained that we all Architects must participate in Smart City Mission.
Since the celebrations will continue for a week, Ar. Yogesh Singla, Chairman of IIALC updated all about whole week programme. Various competitions of photography, mural design, and graffiti design to be held on 4th, 5th and 6th October respectively to mark the week for architects.

It was also informed that Udan Media and Communications Pvt. Ltd and Indian Institute of Architects Ludhiana Centre is all set to organize second edition of “IntexExpo-2016” on Interiors and Exteriors. The event will be held from 7th to 10th October at Gulmor Hotel, Ludhiana and it will be inaugurated by Mayor H.S. Gohalwaria. On 8th October, Jury of stalls would be held and on 9th October panel discussion on Smart Cities will take place and a painting competition will be held on the 10th October.
IntexExpo-2016 will provide an ideal Platform for the visitors to see wide range of latest trends in Interior and Exterior, Décor Accessories & designs keeping in view modern life style. During this Expo, modern Home Furniture & Furnishing, Modular Kitchens, Building Technology, Bath & Sanitary Fittings, multipurpose imported technology building Boards which are water/fire/termite proof, Automatic Doors, Bathroom fittings and accessories, Decorative Glasses, Wall Papers and many more brands in latest technology of Interior & Exteriors will be displayed.
