Architects Celebrate Engineers Day With New Technologies

Ludhiana, September 15, 2016: Architects from the Indian Institute of Architects, Ludhiana Centre celebrated Engineers Day in association with Bosch India a leading name in power tools. The meeting saw city’s renowned engineers, architects, who were invited to have an interaction. The day is celebrated as a remarkable tribute to the greatest Indian Engineer Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
The panel of experts showcased, products ranging from construction tools to measuring tools. Topics related to the technology of measuring tools and benefits of measuring tools were briefed along with discussion of new product launches.
Ar. Sanjay Goel, Chairman, The Indian Institute of Architects Chandigarh-Punjab Chapter congratulated the fraternity on the occassion of Engineers Day. “The meet was very informative, as these new-age engineering tools will increase our productivity and quality of today’s construction industry.” Also, being the Director of Ludhiana Smart City Limited, he felt that there is a need to increase the awareness of this technology among the budding architects as in his opinion Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable, Engineering is not merely analysis, engineering is practicing the art of the organized forcing of technological change.
The industry invitees had a healthy discussion, and told it was a step towards their knowledge on how this industry is revolving for the benefit of the consumers.
Mr. Jatinder Singh, who has taken the lead in organizing the event, said “The time has come for Emgineers to be Smart Engineers.” The event was attended by leading Engineers and architects from IIALC.
