Dharamsala, December 31, 2012: Kuldeep Singh Pathania, ex-MLA has been appointed as Chairman Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board in a notification issued today.
Pathania represents the Bhattiyat Assembly Constituency of District Chamba. He was elected as youngest MLA in sixth Assembly in 1985 to 1990. He also remained MLA from 1993 to 1998 and was adjudged with Best Parliamentarian Award.
He remained Chairman of 3rd State Finance Commission in 2003-2007 and again elected as MLA from Bhattiyat Assembly Constituency from 2007 to 2012 and is also the Chief Spokesperson of the Party.
He had served as MLA for four terms and has recently been appointed General Secretary (In-charge Organisation) of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee.
