APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR NATIONAL WATER AWARDS

Ludhiana, November 9, 2018: The Union Government has decided to honor organizations with National Water Awards, who have made remarkable efforts towards water conservation. Applications in this regard have been invited from eligible organizations. While giving the reference of letter of Union Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation Ministry, the Deputy Commissioner, Mr.Pradeep Kumar Agrawal said that these awards will be given in 'Best State', 'Bast District', 'Best Village Panchayat', 'Best Municipal Corporation' or other Corporation Bodies', 'Best Schools ', ' Best T. V Show' and 'Best Newspaper' categories. He said that more details can be sought from the websites www.mowr.gov.in and www.cgwb.gov.in. Applications can be submitted in the Office of Deputy Commissioner or District Public Relations Office, Ludhiana till November 20, 2018.
