Appeal for movie Chaar Sahibzaade to be shown to underprivileged masses

Ludhiana, December 1, 2014: The prominent personalities of Ludhiana gathered at the Restaurant, Black Pearl on Monday to appeal for the movie Chaar Sahibzaade to be shown to the underprivileged masses. They also put forth the demand that the movie should continue to run in theatres till the martyrdom day of the younger sahibzaadas i.e. 26th December 2014.
Ranjodh Singh, President and Jagtar Singh, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, stressed that the movie like Chaar Sahibzaade, which fosters a sense of pride in the Sikh community and serves as a reminder for the younger generation about the bravery and devotion of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh, should enjoy maximum viewership.
They further added that with the support of eminent and well-to-do personalities of Ludhiana, the movie can be shown to the people who cannot afford to watch it in theatres. They also appreciated the endeavours of Harjinder Singh Kukreja, Owner, The Yellow Chilli, for enabling many school and college students to watch this movie by sponsoring it.
Harjinder Singh Kukreja reiterated the words of Ranjodh Singh and said that he will continue to make efforts so that more youngsters from different schools and colleges are able to have this experience in cinema halls.
Dr Narinder Sandhu, Principal, Ramgarhia Girls College, also said that the movie has so far garnered immense response throughout the world.
Renowned Punjabi Poet, Prof. Gurbhajan Gill, highlighted that if it continues to run in theatres for a longer period, the people who have not been able to watch it till now, shall be able to enjoy the experience of watching a beautifully delineated animation, which deals with the brave sacrifices of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji, on the silver screen.
Dr. Rajwant Singh from U.S.A. appreciated the movie and recommended everyone to watch it. He also appealed people to avoid watching it online and buying its pirated versions. This venerated effort made by the team should be supported so that other film makers also get inspired to make such remarkable movies.
Dr. Anurag Singh, Dr. S. S. Sibia, Dr. Baldeep Singh, Rajeev Sahni, D. S. Chawla, eminent industrialist and Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICCO also marked their presence on the occasion.
Harjinder Singh Kukreja, Owner, The Yellow Chilli, also appealed the eminent gathering to make efforts so that the movie can be shown to the masses and the message that it contains might be spread to a wider audience.
