Apeejay's auditorium transformed to the sands of Rajasthan

Jalandhar, March 17, 2015: On the twilight of Apeejay Svran International Design and Performing Arts Week's 5th day, Apeejay's auditorium was transformed to the sands of Rajasthan with folk performance and the foreign delegates produced melodious sounds to enthrall the audience. On this historic event, Sushma Paul Berlia, paid tribute to her father, Founder Chairman Dr. Stya Paul. She said it was his vision to make Apeejay, a hub of quality education and It was only through his strenuous efforts that Apeejay has become a brand in the field of quality education.

As the dusk deepened, a performance of Rajasthani Folk Dance 'Ghumar' by college girls mesmerised the audience present in the college. The girls left a mark of Rajasthan with their feet moving on Rajasthani tunes. Students from Codarts University of the Arts played on the strings of classical instruments. Felippe, student from Holland played duffali, Clara's (student from Codart University of the Arts, Rotterdam) fingers on the flute produced sweet sound while Indre, student from Codart University of the Arts, Rotterdam took away the show with her singing of "Duma Dum Mast Kalandar". They were accompanied by Tausheen Raj and Gurpreet on Santoor and Satwinder Singh played Sarangi with them. Anadi Mishra, Chandan, Bennet Dosanjh and others presented Qawali, in praise of the creator of this Universe. The day came to an end with Bhangra Team moving their steps on the beats of 'Dhol'.

Principal Dr. Sucharita expressed her gratitude to Berlia to stand as a pillar of support for Apeejay. Apeejay could cover milestones only with her support.
