Apeejay School wins platinum award for conserving natural resources

Jalandhar, February 19, 2015: Apeejay School, Rama Mandi receives an outstanding honour at the Microsoft Create to Inspire programme 2014 in collaboration with Pahal, an NGO, for conserving natural resources to make the environment clean and green.

The school was provided with fourteen tool kits by Microsoft to be completed within seven months. The tool kits included collection of E-waste, demystifying carbon footprints, importance of organic food, waste management students of classes V-XII were divided into various groups and work distributed as per each of the tool kit. Students under the guidance of the teachers worked hard for over a period of seven months leading to becoming the champions in the said programme.

Principal Madhu Sharma congratulated the students and the teachers for this great victory, that aroused amongst students the need to protect environment and make our city clean city green city.
