APEEJAY CELEBRATED LOHRI AND MAKAR SAKRANTI

Jalandhar, January 14, 2019: Apeejay College of fine arts celebrated Lohri and Makar Sankranti festivals with full gusto and zeal. College principal Dr Sucharita Sharma remarked on the occasion that festivals are celebrated because they connect students with the cultural roots of the country. Students performed group dance and singing in the Punjabi genre. (SWA) Students Welfare Association members distributed gachak, revadi and moongfali to give the concluding touch the event. Principal Dr. Sucharita lauded the efforts of Dr. Manisha Sharma, Dean, SWA for organizing this event.
