Shimla, January 8, 2018: Senior HAS officer Shri Anupam Kashyap today assumed charge as new Director of the Information and Public Relations, Himachal Pradesh.
Shri Kashyap is HAS officer of 1999 batch and he has rendered his services on various key posts in the state government. Earlier, he was posted as Additional Director cum Additional Controller Store in Industries department.
He has given his services as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, Additional Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment, PWD and Fisheries, Director Youth Services and Sports and Secretary, State Election Commission. He was on deputation in the regional office of the Union Ministry of Rural Development at Chandigarh.
Shri Anupam Kashyap said the department will work wholeheartedly for publicizing the policies and programmes of the State Government up to grass root level. He said proper coordination would be ensured with all departments to disseminate welfare schemes amongst the masses, especially to the targeted groups.
