Annual Sports Meet in Bajaj College

Ludhiana, April 3, 2018: Bajaj College, affiliated to Panjab University, situated at Chaunkimann celebrated its Annual Sports Meet for the session 2017-18. The meet began with a March Past by the members of the student council after which principal, Dr.Shikha Dhall, declared the sports meet open. Students competed in various events with a zeal of sportsmanship.
The winners of the events in their decreasing order were Rishab, Gurjot and Navjot in 100m race; Navjot, Gurjot and Karaninder in 400m race; Mohit, Fatehibir and Amanjot in sack-race; Onkar, Mohit and Kshitij in Push-ups; Nitesh, Gurjot and Rajanbir in shotput; team of Gurjot,Rsihab and Karanpreet in Basketball; Kshitij-Tarandeep, Barinder-Nitesh and Shubham-Shivam in three-leg race; Barinder, Shivam and Harshita in lemon race; Monika in skipping. In relay race students of BBA 1st year bagged the 1st position, BCOM 3rd year were 1st runners up and BCOM 2nd year were 2nd runners up.
Gurjot Grewal and Sumanjeet Kaur were awarded the best athletes from boys and girls respectively and B.com 4th semester was awarded the best athletic class. At last, the sports meet was declared closed with a tree plantation ceremony by the students of final year from all the streams.
