Ludhiana, August 28, 2015: 'Pratibimb-The Reflection of Thoughts', an annual exhibition was held in the school premises. It aesthetically portrayed the exhibitory skills of the students. Mr.B.D.Arora(Advocate) was accorded a warm welcome as the Chief Guest. He inaugurated the event. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Sh.S.K.Mehta, Sh.R.B.Khanna & Principals of sister institutions. The event showcased a fair blend of creativity, artistic skills and innovation. Students had prepared various models, artifacts, charts covering all the subjects. The guests went to every stall & enquired about the working of different models. The event was divided wing-wise & subject wise. The entrance captured the attention of all where the students of primary wing enacted the Janmasthmi scene. Staff & Students paid a tribute to Late. Sh. O.P. Munjal. Everyone relived and cherished the moments he spent with us through photographs & a presentation. Hymns were recited in his memory.
The major attractions of the middle wing were the Language enactments where they presented the Parts of Speech, Tenses, Panj Pyaare etc. Whereas the senior wing presented poems through puppet show & jingles etc. The centre stage showcased the Banaras Ghat of river Ganga which is also known as the Burning Ghat, highlighting how it is being polluted & how the Government has planned to make it pollutant free under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The Mathematical robot in the mathematics wing & the working model of hydraulic power in the science Wing were commendable. The curious parents were fascinated on getting guidance on how to detect food adulteration.
Besides the presentation of models of Indian Parliament, various monuments and Nepal disaster, the introduction & arrival of PETA (People for Ethical Treatment for Animals) enthralled the audience. It was a gallery of craftsmanship combined with intelligence. The Commerce Department presented the journey of a product from manufacturing to how it finally reaches the consumers. They launched & promoted Green Tea. The Fiesta ended with pearls of wisdom by the Chief Guest who appreciated the efforts put by the students.
The school principal Dr. Vandna Shahi appreciated the hard work put in by the students & congratulated them on the grand success of the event.
