Amitabh Bachchan to be honored with Dada Sahib Phalke Award

India's greatest legendary Actor, Amitabh Bachchan is to be honoured with Dada Sahib Phalke Award - the greatest Award and honor in the Film Line as announced by the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Parkash Javedkar for his contribution to the Indian Film Industry.
It was in 1969 that Amitabh Bachchan made his big screen debut with Saat Hindustani, and four decades later, he is still busy entertaining the audience with his performances in various advertisements, and a popular tv show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”. His career got a boost in film Zanzeer opposite Jaya Bhaduri. His films Mili, Sholay, Kabhi Kabhi, Silsala, Bhagwan etc were super hits, as he was quoted as angry Young Man in films such as Deewar and Mukadar Ka Sikandar.
With the blessings of millions of his admirers when he was accidently hit on the sets of shooting of film “Coolie” and was under treatment at Breach Candy Hospital even the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had inquired about the health of Amitabh Bachchan.
He had been in the Indian Politics too. He had won from the Allahabad Lok Sabha Constituency in 1984 as he had been considered very close to Gandhi Family at that time.
The recent announcement of Dada Sahib Phalke Award to Amitabh Bachchan is a great honour to the living legend. His fan followers are very much delighted to listen about the latest development. Many of his fans are even sending “congratulations” messages to their known ones informing them about Dada Sahib Phalke Award to be given to Amitabh Bachchan.
