Chandigarh, October 19, 2019: BJP national secretary and party’s star campaigner Tarun Chugh today said that Congress was all set to lose all four seats going to polls on 21st of October. The BJP leader who is campaigning in favour of BJP candidates in Phagwara and Mukerian, said that the Congress defeat in all the four bypolls would mark the beginning of the end of Amarinder government. In fact, the countdown of the Amarinder government would start on the day, the results of Phagwara, Mukerian, Dakha and Jalalabad seats are declared. “The people of Punjab want to teach a lesson to Capt Amarinder Singh who has gone back on his pre-poll promises. With the credibility of the Chief Minister and his government at the lowest, the Congress is finding itself cornered in all the four constituencies,” Chugh said. Taking a dig at the Chief Minister, the BJP leader said, earlier the CM had no time for the people, his party workers, leaders and MLAs but was now ignoring his own ministers and denying them access even to his SUV.
