All India Pensioners’ Day celebrated

Ludhiana: On the call of LIC Pensioners’ Association, All India Pensioners’ Day was celebrated in front of Divisional Office, Dugri, Ludhiana alongwith pensioners, working members of NZIEA, Class-I & II Association also joined in the gate meeting. While addressing the meeting, Sh. N.S.Kala, General Secretary of LIC Pensioners’ Association appraised the gathering about the relevance of Pensioner’s Day. He also congratulated the members’ alongwith the cadres of All India Insurance Employees’ Association for significant and purposeful achievement of getting final option of pension for LIC employees and pensioners. Sh. Dashan Singh, President said that celebration of Pensioner’s Day is an occasion to re-dedicate for the noble cause they stand for. He demanded updation of pension and condemned the anti-worker policies of the Govt. He said that the Pensioners’ will always stand for the protection of public sector LIC of India. Others who addressed the rally were Sh. SM Bhatia, Sh. Sanjiv Sood and Sh. Amarjit Singh.
