AkzoNobel launches Dulux Velvet Touch Autograph Collection

A first of its kind limited period emulsion co-curated by their brand ambassador Farhan Akhtar

AkzoNobel, the leading global Paints and Coatings Company and the makers of Dulux Paints in India, recently launched their latest offering in the super premium paints category – the Dulux Velvet Touch Autograph Collection, a limited period emulsion with a collection of 50 exclusive colours co-curated by their brand ambassador Farhan Akhtar. Developed at Dulux’s Global Aesthetic Center, the Autograph Collection is the only celebrity co-curated emulsion in the paint industry today.

Speaking about the new launch, David Teng, General Manager, Decorative Paints, South Asia Cluster, AkzoNobel India said, “Our research showed that there is a sizeable set of consumers who need assistance with choosing the right colour for their homes. The large variety of colours makes it confusing for consumers to choose that one special colour. Hence, we thought of introducing a select set of 50 exclusive and contemporary colours in a unique celeb endorsed pack which we named as “Dulux Velvet Touch Autograph Collection” This collection will surely help consumers in make quick and easy colour choices.”

Recently, Velvet Touch has also won the prestigious “Product of the Year 2017” award in the paints category. “Product of the Year” is an internationally recognized certification that celebrates and rewards the best innovations in consumer products and services and is the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovations. The receipt of “Product of the Year” award bears testimony to the innovative products which Velvet Touch has always brought to the market and the launch of Autograph Collection has just added another feather to its cap.

The Dulux Velvet Touch Autograph Collection will come in 3 pack sizes – 1 litre, 4 litre and 10 litre. It will be a limited period product available only for this season in select Dulux stores across the country.
