Akhilesh Pandey forays into film production with Mithun Chakraborty starrer ‘Mission Mumbai’ Mumbai: Akhilesh Pandey, the managing director of ‘Akhil Emaginator’ has made many films as a financer. He has produced few music albums too. Now, with Mithun Chakraborty starrer “Mission Mumbai” he has forayed into film production. The film is being made in association with ‘Anup Jalota Films’.The film is based on the story of a police officer who is all set out to stop terrorist attack in a mall in Mumbai. It is being readied for an early release. Apart from this film, ‘Akhil Emaginator’ is also producing films like “Rehamdil Qatil”, “Chaupal- Dhamal”, “Shakcham”, “Lovegiri” amongst others which are in the various stages of production.Some are solo ventures while the others are in association with other producers.Akhilesh Pandey is also making a ‘web series’ and a music album too. An interesting film “The Last Card” based on the government of Ranchi is also under production. Speaking about the film, Akhilesh Pandey, the managing director of ‘Akhil Emaginator’ says, “Mission Mumbai is a nice and interesting film and I am sure all my audience will like it. The music in it is also good.” Pandey further adds, “Chaupal- Dhamal, is a comedy film also in the pipeline of release. It features Venkat, K. K. Goswami, Jyoti Mirke, Heena Harwani, Gauri Khan, Shagun Sharma, Vivek Singh, Nafe Khan and others in its cast. It is being directed by Ajay Shaw in alliance with his company S.F. Trading Inc. This one is a love story revolving around three couples. The film even has an item song on Nains Singh, Miss India Continent 2017. In all it is a wholesome entertainer for the young generation.” Apart from Mithun Chakraborty in “Mission Mumbai”, the film also features Zarina Wahab, Nafe Khan, Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad and Kafrina Khan in its star cast. It is directed by Sayed Farookh,Ishad Suratwala has provided the musical scores. Veteran singers like Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali, Anup Jalota, Kavita Krishnamurthi have rendered the songs. The film is produced under the banner of ‘Akhil Emaginator’ and ‘Anup Jalota Films’.
