AJEEVIKA EVAM KAUSHAL VIKAS DIVAS CELEBRATED IN MSDC AND ITI

LUDHIANA: Ajeevika Evam Kaushal Vikas Divas was celebrated at Multi-Skills Development Centre (MSDC) and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) For Boys, Gill road of the city on Tuesday.

The event at MSDC was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor Sarbjeet Kaur accompanied by Pushkar Mishra MSDC's head. Kaur launched two batches English cum Soft skills of Regional Institute of English with the cordial support of Vijay Singh, District Programme Management Unit.

The batches were started on the instructions and directions of Punjab Skills Development Mission. The event started with tree plantation drive, where three saplings were planted in the campus of MSDC.

Deputy Mayor Sarbjeet Kaur appreciated the brilliant work being done in the institution on skill development and employment generation. Students of the institute also participate in activities like theme based painting competition, save girl child, pollution free city, and singing.

In the end, Pushkar Mishra gave a vote of thanks to guest present, staff members and students for participating in the Ajeevika Evam Kaushal Vikas Diwas.

Similarly, Ajeevika Evam Kaushal Vikas Diwas was celebrated at ITI in which Principal Jaswant Singh Bhattal welcomed the guests and student and informed them about the courses being offered under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna.

He said that training, books, uniform, and bags are being given at free of cost. On the occasion, placement wing held campus interview in which representatives of two companies Neeru Udyog and JV Exports selected the eligible candidates after the test.

Ishwarjot Singh Cheema has appealed the students to take benefit of courses being run by Punjab Government and Government of India and wished them bright future.
