AICTE sponsored 2-weeks faculty development program at SBS Campus

Ferozepur, December 10, 2019: AICTE sponsored 2-weeks faculty development program (FDP) is inaugurated at SBSSTC, Ferozepur campus under leadership of Director, Dr.T. S.Sidhu on “Big Data Analytics using Machine Learning Techniques”. About 120 participants from 12 different institutes all over the country registered for this FDP. Dr.Sidhu welcomed the chief guest and Keynote speaker - Dr.Vishal Goyal, Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala and participants. Dr.Vishal Goyal, Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala joined as chief guest and keynote speaker during the inaugural ceremony. The chief guest inaugurated the FDP by lighting the lamp and briefed the importance of Big data and Machine learning by taking real life examples. The chief guest praised the eye soothing landscaping and beautification of the SBS campus. He motivated the participants for doing research in the evolving fields of big data and machine learning. Dr Gulshan Ahuja, Convener briefed the schedule of various activities during FDP. Dr. Sunny Behal, Dean Academics and Coordinator of the FDP gave brief overview of the achievements of keynote speaker. At the end of inauguration ceremony, chief guest honoured by Dr. Sidhu, Director and organizing team in the presence of Dr. Lalit Sharma-Associate Director, Mrs. Daljeet Kaur – Dean Administration, Mr. Gaurav Kumar- Admin Officer, Mr. Japinder Singh- HoD Computer Science & Engineering, Mr Anil Bansal – HoD, Computer Applications Department and PRO – Mr. Balwinder Singh Mohie.
