Ahsaas organised online painting competition for crealing awareness about cleanliness

Ludhiana, November 21, 2018: Ahsaas, an NGO, organised online painting competition on the topic "ek kadm swachhta ke or" for crealing awareness about cleanliness. The competition was divided into two parts namely senior group and junior group. The children belonging to 11 schools participated in the competition.
RESULTS
Junior Group: Tripti Jain, Ananya Chhabra and Pushti were declared the winners.
Senior Group: Khushnoor, Manju, Nandini, Harish and Nishtha were declared the winners.
The winners were awarded trophies and cash awards by BK Jha, Commissioner, Income Tax, Ludhiana. The first, second and third winners were awrded cash prize of Rs.1400, Rs.1100 and Rs.500, respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Jha lauded the role being played by Ahsaas and asked children to extend their support in making the city clean. He also motivated the children to prepare new year greeting cards that would be sent to Indian soldiers on the Border.
Sangeeta Bhandari, President, Ahsaas, said the parents and the teachers played a key role in cultivating sense of respensibility among the children.
Punam Mehndiratta, Nutan Seth, Lalita Lamba, Mamta Talwar, Renuka Ahuja and others were present on the occasion.
