Though, the administration is gird up for the lifting season and has set up 128 purchase markets to procure 8.22 Lakh MT of wheat. Yesterday, a protest was held by District Truck Operators Welfare Association where truck operators announced to boycott the procurement system.
Giving details, Babu Singh, President of the Truck Operators Union said that the truck owners of this district will not provide trucks for lifting to the administration. “The truck operators belonging to this region have not submitted any tender for lifting.
