ADMISSIONS START AT SAINIK VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE
Ludhiana, January 18, 2019: Lt Col (Retd) Jasbir Singh Boparai, District Defence Services Welfare Officer Ludhiana, has informed that in this age of computerisation, the knowledge of computers has become necessary. For providing computer education to the family members of ex-servicemen and others from district Ludhiana and adjoining districts, admissions for different courses have started at Sainik Vocational Centre, here. These include three-month long basic computer course, programming C, programming C++, programming Java Core +, and advertisement, along with four-month long HTML and web designing course. He informed that apart from some administrative expenses, no other fee would be taken from the family members of ex-servicemen and very less fee, as compared to other institutes, would be taken from the students from general category. He said that the registration for these courses has already started and the interested candidates can get themselves registered at the office of District Defence Services Welfare Office, near Clock Tower/old courts road, Ludhiana.
