ALL THE GOVERNMENT, AFFILIATED, AIDED AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN DISTRICT TO OPEN AT 10 am FROM JANUARY 3 to 12
LUDHIANA, January 2, 2018: Keeping in view of dense fog engulfing the region, Additional Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Singh Sandhu has ordered that all the government, government aided, affiliated, private schools and Anganwari centers in the district would open at 10 am from January 3.
In the orders issued here on Tuesday, the Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Additional District Magistrate exercised the power under section 144 of CRPC, 1973, has said these orders would remain in force till January 12.
Expressing concern over the extreme cold and dense fog, Mr. Sandhu said that some road accidents have been reported in the state and the decision has been taken to ensure the security of the children and to maintain law and order.
