The Adecco Group appoints Marco Valsecchi as Country Manager & Managing Director for India

Bangalore, July 19, 2018: The Adecco Group India, the world’s leading provider of HR solutions, announced the appointment of Marco Valsecchi as the Country Manager & MD of the company with effect from July 11, 2018. As the Country Manager & MD, Marco will oversee the Adecco General Staffing, Professional Staffing, Spring Professional and Lee Hecht Harrison businesses in India.

Marco takes over from Priyanshu Singh, who led the company in India for the past two years. Marco is a well-respected member of The Adecco Group, India’s Leadership team having joined the organization in June 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer; a role that he will continue to oversee in the interim.

Marco will be based in The Adecco Group India’s head office in Bangalore. Prior to joining The Group, Marco served as the Managing Director for Punkt in Lugano, Switzerland. He comes with 20+ years of experience in finance and investment having worked with companies like Randstad (Netherlands, India and Italy), Morgan Stanley & Nextra Investment Management. In his 9 year stint at Randstad, he worked in India for 3 years as the country CFO. Marco holds an MBA from Babson College (Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business).
