aDAVitya 2019, a 2-day National Level Annual Technical Festival Concluded at DAVIET with Great Gusto

Jalandhar, March 14, 2019: aDAVitya 2019, a 2-day national level annual technical festival was successfully concluded on March 14, 2019 at DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jalandhar with great zest. Sh.Arvind Ghai, Secretary, DAVCMC, New Delhi was the Chief Guest on valediction of this technical function.
The valedictory function was attended by Dr.Gaurav Dhuria, HOD, ME, Dr.Neeru Malhotra, HOD, ECE, Dr.Vinay Chopra, HOD, MCA, Dr Harpreet Bajaj, HOD, CSE, Dr. Anil Soni, HOD, MBA, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, HOD, IT, Dr. K.L. Singh, HOD, Applied Science, Dr. Sanjeev Naval, HOD, CE, Dr. Sudhir Sharma, HOD, EE, faculty, staff of DAVIET and other colleges.
aDAVitya 2019 has attracted students from leading Universities and Institutions of the nation like Guru Nanak Dev University, DAV University, Punjab Technical University, Lovely Professional University, AMITY University, Lyallpur Khalsa Colllege of Engg & Technolology, Central Institute of Hand tools, CT group of Institutes, KCET Asr., SGGS Chandigarh and many more. A large number of students participated in as many as 100 technical events conducted over two days. The glimpses of major events of aDAVitya were web striker, SQL Maestro, Key to code, Code shuffle, Circuitrix, Brain Pop, Makezine, Electrical Dare, Flippers, Tech-Tonic, Blind coding, Editing Guru, Eco- Drawing, Project display, Code-O-Fiesta, Bid to win, Business Plan, Corporate Battle, Extempore, Roadies, Ace of Space, Pop the Balloon, Civil Quiz, LAN Gaming, Chempspeller, Openmic and Mega quiz. The show stealers were the galleries organized by Arteso, Alfaaz and Clicker and literary clubs of the Institution. The literary Gallery by Alfaaz showcased Poetry, nano tales and articles written by students. The praise for excellent technical festival was flowing in the valedictory function.

He stated that such technical festivals provide the students with an opportunity to gratify their expertise. He pointed out that such technical series would have great bearing on the Engineering Curriculum and exposure of industrial atmosphere to engineering and management students. Further, he thanked the chief guest for attending the valediction ceremony from his busy schedule.
Sh. Arvind Ghai, chief guest of the day, showered his blessings upon the students. He appreciated the talent of the participants. He congratulated all participants, faculty, student organizers and convener of this technical event for conducting this event in such a disciplined manner. Further, he pointed out the importance of such technical festivals in the overall personality development of the professional students.
Dr. G.K. Dhuria, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Convener of the Tech Fest presented a vote of thanks.
Various experts in the respective fields made the judgment of the events. The performance shown by various teams was par excellence which was applauded by one and all. The function was concluded with distribution of certificates and prizes.
