Adarsh Public School observed National Deworming Day

Chandigarh, February 8, 2019: National Deworming Day was observed in Adarsh Public (Smart) School, Sector-20B, Chandigarh. This special day is observed at national level to make people aware about the menace of stomach worms, which may adversely affect the children’s health. The special day was started by the Government of India in view of the public awareness regarding this common health condition. Ms. Sunita Thakur, Principal, Adarsh Public School, informed the children about the problem of stomach worms. She told that the children were provided free medicines in the presence of their parents, so that they did not have any problem with the stomach worms.
