AAP organises medical and awareness camp in Mulsim colony

Ludhiana, July 15, 2013: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a medical and awareness camp in the Gastro effected Muslim Colony area in Sherpur.

The medical camp was organised outside the mosque in Muslim Colony.  Dr.  Gaurav Khanna of Shilpy Nursing Home was there to check the patients and medicines were also distributed free of cost.

AAP volunteers asked the local residents to drink only boiled water and created awareness on other health related issue.  

District executive member Sandeep Singla said the whole area is badly affected and needs serious concern from officials. He said the worst affected are children and women. Already two deaths have taken place but still the authorities are not taking necessary precautions, he added.

Mohit Mittal and Davinder Singh, both ward conveners Sherpur said AAP Sherpur team is doing its best and would be regularly holding medical camps and awareness drives throughout the area in this week and would do its best to serve from their side.

Avtar Singh, Akbar, Ajay Mittal, Parshuram, Lovepreet, Navrattan Singh, Lovish Bangia, Bahadur Singh and other party volunteers were present in the camp.
