92.7 BIG FM Punjab and Spark Punjabi salute “The God of Cricket” with massive signature campaign

Chandigarh, November 13, 2013: Andy Flower had once quoted – “There are only two kinds of batsmen in the world – 1) Sachin Tendulkar and 2) All the others.” As the cricketing marvel who defined a golden era in the history of the game, is now edging towards his retirement, Reliance Broadcast Network Limited’s radio channel 92.7 BIG FM Punjab and television channel Spark Punjabi invited all fans to Sukhna Lake to sign a massive ‘All the Best’ greeting card for the God of Cricket. Hundreds of fans and local celebrities thronged the venue to pay their tribute to the master blaster.

As a first-of-its-kind initiative, this signature-campaign has been conducted in Chandigarh in a combined effort by 92.7 BIG FM and Spark Punjabi’s popular VJ/RJ’s as a token of respect for the legend of the game. The campaign saw an overwhelming response from the cricket lovers with hundreds of people signing the massive graffiti wall placed in Sukhna Lake wishing all the best to Sachin for his last test match. The favourite Punjabi Singer Sherry Mann flagged off the campaign by writing his/her first message for Sachin Tendulkar.
