8 IPS Officers transferred

Chandigarh, June 21, 2014: The Punjab Government today transferred 8 IPS officers with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that Ishwar Singh, IPS has been transferred and posted as IGP-cum-Director, State Narcotic Control Bureau         (Camp at Jalandhar), in addition IGP, Training PPA Phillaur and in addition IGP, Internal Vigilance Cell, Pb., Chd, Jitendra Kumar Jain, IPS posted as IGP, Intelligence & Counter Intelligence, Bathinda and in addition IGP, Vigilance, Parveen Kumar Sinha, IPS posted as IGP-cum-Director SSG, PB., Chd., C M Security, Pramod Ban, IPS posted as Commissioner Police Ludhiana.       He further said that R.K. Jaiswal, IPS posted as DIG, Int-2 & in addition DIG, Ropar Range, Mohnish Chawla, IPS posted as DIG, Ferozepur Range (CDC), AS Chahal, IPS posted as DIG, Bathinda Range (CDC) and Yurinder Singh, IPS posted as DIG, Ludhiana Range (CDC).
