Ludhiana: Ludhiana: Stage is all set for the Quarter Final Clashes here at the 70th Senior National Basketball Championship in Guru Nanak Dev Indoor Stadium in Ludhiana.
In women undefeated Indian Railways and Kerala women, along with Telengana and Delhi from Group A , Madhya Pradesh and  Punjab from Group B made the quarter finals. 
In the men’s section, the undefeated Tamil Nadu and Punjab teams have qualified to the quarterfinals along with the Services, Indian Railways, Karnataka and Uttarakhand  team.
Kerala women remained undefeated as they overpowered the top spot beating Punjab 70-30. Jeena PS once again made it look easy as she scored 21 points and  Anjanna Making 20 and sephy Nixon with 12 marches in to the quarter finals.
The remaining 2 quarterfinal spots are still up for grabs to be decided through the pre-quarterfinal results. The Karnataka  women have sneaked through to the pre-quarterfinals knocking out Tamil Nadu  on the basis of the head-to-head record between the two teams. Tamil Nadu  women have been winless in the tournament so far after losing their final group game to Krantaka 68-49 today afternoon. Centre Rajapriyadarshini top scored for the Railways team with 19 points. Maharashtra women are also through to the pre-quarterfinals with a win against Madhya Pradesh today morning, led by heir experienced guard and captain, Manisha Dange, who scored 22 points. From level 2  Chandigarh  and Rajasthan women will join  playing in the pre-quarterfinals for a spot in the quarters.
Tamil Nadu maintained their spotless record today with a 95-29 blowout victory against Telangana. Punjab also remained unbeaten with a comfortable 83-66 victory against Haryana led by their centre Gagandeep Singh putting up a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. The Kerala men are fighting to stay alive in the tournament, as in the last league  battle defeated Rajsthan62-59 to make the pre-quarterfinals as they today while Karnataka defeated Haryana 97-74 which makes Haryana to Play the Pre Quarter finals and will be joined by Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh who qualified from level2
In the qualifying matches  from level 2 to level 1in Men Chandigarh defeated Jammu & Kashmir 92-79 while Uttar Pradesh scrape past Madhya Pradesh 74-71 to fin a berth the Pre quarter finals 
In women  qualifier Rajasthan beat  Uttar Pradesh 59-58 and Chandigarh beat West Bengal to make them qualified to the pre quarter finals
