7 IAS & 1 PCS OFFICER TRANSFERRED

Chandigarh, June 29, 2017: The Punjab Government today transferred 7 IAS and 1 PCS officers with immediate effect.

Disclosing this, an official spokesman said that in respect of IAS officers, Mr.Rakesh Kumar Verma has been posted as Secretary, Industries and Commerce and in addition as Secretary, Information Technology. Mr.Sumer Singh Gurjar has been posted as Commissioner, Faridkot Division, Faridkot and in addition as Secretary, Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. Mr.Sirra Karuna Raju has been posted as Secretary, Revenue and Rehabilitation, Mr.Rahul Tewari as Secretary, Home Affairs, Justice and Jails and Mr.Daljit Singh Mangat as Special Secretary, Planning. The spokesman further said that in partial modification of orders issued yesterday, Mr. Satish Chandra has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Local Government and in addition as Principal Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi. Mr.M.P. Singh has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Development.

Mr.Raman Kumar Kochhar, PCS has been posted as Assistant Commissioner (General) Gurdaspur.
