5th MachAutoExpo-2016 inaugurated

Ludhiana, February 11, 2016: Dr.Charanjit Singh Atwal speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha inaugurated the 5th MachAutoExpo-2016 an Exhibition on Machine Tools, Engineering Machinery, Automation Technology and related products today. S.Sukhwant Singh Sarao, Member Punjab Public Service Commission was Guest of Honour. S.Manjit Singh Matharoo to approach the Punjab Government to provide a very suitable exhibition Hall as this is the long pending demand of the Industry. He further said that no nation can progress without the promotion of Small scale Industry. China has progressed more than 50 times than India in the field of Industry. S.Sukhwant Sarao appreciated the efforts of the Organisers for organizing such a valuable and knowledgeable exhibition.
Mr. G.S. Dhillon, Director of Udan Media and Communication and organizer of the exhibition informed that MachAutoExpo has grown from strength to strength every passing year and is rated one of the largest Machine Tool and Automation Technology Exhibition in the northern region. Due to rapid change in technology, it has become imperative to keep pace with the global Market. The basic aim of this event is to develop and promote the small scale industrial units of Punjab so as to make them globally competent. In this mega event the main thrust is on showcasing the latest technology in every segment of Industry.
Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal said that Punjabis are very hard working and enterprising. If they are given opportunity to develop the Industry we can show to the world that This fifth edition of Machautoexpo-2016 will be another milestone for the Industry of Ludhiana in particular, Northern Region in General and overall the entire Industry of our country. We should be optimistic to achieve our goals to upgrade our Industry to match the global market. Dr. Atwal assured the Industrialist to take up their demand for building a dedicated Exhibition Hall for the Industry of Punjab.
