530 UNITS of blood donated by Nirankari devotees in mega blood donation camp

Hoshiarpur/Jalandhar, July 21, 2013: As many as 533 units of was donated voluntarily by the Nirankari devotees, including 56 women folks during a  mega blood donation camp organised at Sant Nirankari Bhawan Hoshiarpur today, by Sant Nirankari Foundation, Delhi.
Ajmer Singh Sandhu Zonal in-charge Batala inaugurated the camp, Sham Sunder Arora, MLA, Hoshiarpur was also present. Donors were honored with medals and certificates.
Medical teams from Bhai Kanayia Charitable Society Hoshiarpur, Medical College Amritsar, Govt. Hospital Hoshiarpur and Govt. Hospital Mukerian cooperated in this camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajmer Singh Sandhu informed that Nirankari charitable Foundation targeted to donate 60,000 units of blood through 400 blood donation camps in this year. He said till date Nirankari Mission had donated more than 5,62,000 units of blood through blood donation camps.
He Further informed that such camps are being organised for the welfare of humanity, so that precious lives can be saved. He added by donating blood the differences of caste, colour and creed are abolished and feelings of brotherhood is established.
Sham  Sunder Arora MLA Hoshiarpur said that Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj Head  of Nirankari Mission is doing a lot  of efforts for the welfare of humanity through these camps.
Khetri Sanchalak Saint Dr. Sudarshan Kumar  said that huge enthusiasm has been seen in devotees. He said that 500 units of blood was targeted but more than 700 devotees were present to donate the blood.
Dr. Sudershan Kumar, Mata Subhadra Mukhi Hoshiarpur, Kavi Dutt Sanyojak, Sanchalak Balkishan, Shikshak Davinder Vohra and  many important personalities were present on the occasion.
