52 College and University faculty joined 113th Orientation Course at Human Resource Development Centre, Panjab University

Chandigarh, November 29, 2016: 52 College and University faculty joined the 113th Orientation Course at Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Panjab University (PU) today from different parts of the country. Director, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, PU, Professor Karamjeet Singh briefed the participants regarding the academic content and delivery mechanism of the 4-week long mandatory faculty development programme. He emphasized that inspite of its mandatory nature, these programmes have the potential to do a lot of value addition to not only our careers but also our lives. He also invited
the participants to provide honest feedback and qualitative suggestions to him for continuous improvement in the training.
Director Research Promotion Cell Prof OP Katare, the Chief Guest, in his inaugural address shared his own teaching experience and highlighted that ethical and moral indicators need to be followed stringently to play the game of excellence.
Several eminent resource persons from a wide range of fields have been invited to interact with the teachers to achieve the objective of effective teaching and earning.
