Ludhiana, October 12, 2013: Members of Swami Ganga Nand Bhuriwale International Foundation- an NGO were handed over a 5-day-old baby girl, at the local civil hospital on Saturday.
The NGO is at Dham Talwandi Khurd, near here. The baby girl was recently recovered abandoned in a vacant plot in the Shivpuri area here. Police officials were also present on the occasion.
As per the available information, the baby girl was found lying in a vacant plot. Later on, the police admitted the baby girl to the local civil hospital.
The baby girl was handed over to the NGO concerned after permission of the Ludhiana deputy commissioner.
