45 KMVites selected in Pool Campus Drive by Concentrix

Jalandhar, January 28, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar and a pioneer institution in the women education has always been contributing in the overall growth and development of its students. Keeping with this trend, the Placement Cell of the college under the guidance and leadership of Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi made the students participate in a pool campus drive held at PCM SD College by Concentrix, a business services company. Approximately 90 final year students from various graduate and postgraduate classes like BCA, B.Sc. IT, MA, M.Sc. CS, B.Sc. Eco., BBA, B.Com., B.Sc. Medical, B.Sc. Non- Medical participated in this drive. Ms. Ankita, HR Lead from Concentrix conducted this campus placement drive in four stages. She initiated by making a power point presentation about the company, jobs in IT and BPO sector, job profile, skills required, salary packages etc. This was followed by the first round of face to face interview. The shortlisted students went for an aptitude test, telephonic voice and communication assessment and written test which included passage writing. Finally, 45 students were selected and got Letters of Expression from the company.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the successful students and averred that this type of activities plays a major role in making the students self reliant as it make the students connect with the industry and thus, enable them to work in the professional world. She also appreciated Mrs Suman Khurana, Dean Placements, KMV and her whole team for their sincere efforts in taking such initiatives.
