41st Convocation of PCM S.D.College for Women held

Jalandhar, March 12, 2016: 41st Convocation of PCM S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar was held on Friday. The Chief Guest for the convocation was President of SEED, Delhi, Prof.G.D.Sharma. Also in attendance were the Managing Committee, President Sh.Purshotam Budhia, Sh.Pritam Chand Budhia, Mr.Vinod Dada and Principal Dr.Mrs. Kiran Arora welcomed the guests and while reading the annual report she highlighted the college achievements. This year total 400 degrees were conferred to students and scholars. Prof. G.D. Sharma congratulated the degree holders and gave them best wishes. He said that today is the successful day for degree holders, but to enrich the society we still have to cover a long distance. To link Urban India with Rural India, we have to link our subjects knowledge with the society. He also suggested that every college must have a ‘Research and Innovation Club’, so that students can apply their immense knowledge and help in solving various problems.
