4 day CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament concludes at CT Public School
Jalandhar, October 14, 2019: A four-day CBSE Cluster XVIII Basketball Championship 2019 in the Under 17 and Under 19 Boys and Girls category concluded with immense fanfare and thrill at CT Public School. With old rivalries being rekindled and new ones created, the entire tournament was intense as nearly 108 teams battled for their positions. All the basketball stars displayed their talent on the court and amazed the spectators with their level of skills. The event was embellished by the presence of eminent chief guest Parveen Kumar, CBSE observer along with Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman CT Group of Institutions, Daljeet Rana, Principal and Sukhdeep Kaur, Vice Principal, and coaches of participating schools. Under 19 (Girls)- DAV Public School, Ludhiana stood first whereas CT Public School stood second and JK Public School, Jammu and Manav Public School, Amritsar stood third. Whereas, Under 17 (Girls), the first position was bagged by Apeejay School, Jalandhar whereas the second and third positions were bagged by BCM School, Ludhiana and Ivy World School and West Point School, Fardikot respectively. Under Boys category of Under 19- the first position was bagged by Spring Dale, Amritsar and second and third positions were bagged by Cambridge International School, Jalandhar and Shree Ram Ashram, Amritsar and Police DAV Amritsar respectively. Under 17- the first position was bagged by Doraha Public School, Ludhiana whereas BCM School Ludhiana stood second and CT Public School, Jalandhar and DAV School Ludhiana stood third. Principal Daljeet Rana congratulated all the winning teams for performing outstanding in the four day tournament.
