Ludhiana, October 24, 2019: Of the four assembly constituencies where by-poll was held in Punjab, BJP candidates are trailing in two constituencies. Congress candidates are leading in three constituencies and SAD in one constituency till around 11.15 am.
The counting of votes was started at 8am today.
As per the available information, Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal of Congress is leading with a margin of 6821 votes in Phagwara assembly constituency. Rajesh Bagha of BJP is trailing.
In Mukerian, Indu Bala of Congress is leading with a margin of 2684. Jangi Lal Mahajan of BJP is trailing.
In Dakha, Manpreet Singh Ayali of SAD is leading with a margin of 6477 votes. Capt Sandeep Singh Sandhu of Congress is trailing.
In Jalalabad, Raminder Singh Awla of Congress is leading with a margin of 9071 votes. Raj Singh of SAD is training.
Voting to these assembly constituencies were held on October 21, 2019.
