Jalandhar, December 15, 2015: CT Public School hosted 3rd Sardarni Manjit Kaur Memorial Cricket Tournament was kicked off at Shahpur Campus of CT Group of Institutions with the special match of Visually Impaired students.  This special match was played between the teams of Jammu and Punjab with full enthusiasm and zeal. Punjab team won the match while Jammu bagged the runners up trophy. Punjab team scored 118 runs while in return Jammu scored 63 runs
The opening ceremony of the tournament marked the enlightening presence of S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) as the Chief Guest for the event.
Ms. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) welcomed the dignitaries with the Bouquet Presentation. Afterwards, there was Badge Pinning Ceremony and Balloon Fleeing ceremony to declare the event open.
The special match was played between the "Visually Impaired Children" from. The match was of 15 overs. The Winner & Runners-up teams were honored with trophies, certificates & medals and were felicitated with the prize money of worth of Rs 31,00 each.
Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) appreciated the efforts of Visually Impaired Children for playing so wonderfully. He appreciated the efforts of CT Public School for taking this fantastic initiative in incorporating the team of visually impaired children in the tournament. The Chief Guests distributed the Medals, Certificates, Trophies & Cheques to the winning team & runner-up team.
 S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) introduced the teams from Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. He congratulated the participants and wished them good luck for the tournament. It is to mention that the top two winning teams of the tournament will be felicitated with the prizes of worth Rs 31,000 and Rs 21,000 respectively.
However, the first match of the tournament was played between the teams of CT Public School and Sanctuary High School, Panchkula.
