304 Students Selected By MNCs During Campus To Corporate Express 2016 Organised By IKG PTU At DAVIET

Jalandhar, March 31, 2016: 300 students from diverse professional backgrounds were selected by leading Multinational Giants at Campus to Corporate Express 2016 which concluded here today at DAVIET Campus. It was 3 day multiple recruitment drive in which the leading Multi National Companies visited the campus to select students for various job profiles. C2C 16 was organized by DAVIET in association with IKG Punjab Technical University Jalandhar to facilitate the recruitment of students of the region in leading MNCs.
The response to C2C 16 was phenomenal as a total of 1563 online students registrations were there over a span of three days. Students from 32 leading Institution of the nation like RIEMT, ACET, , GTB, ICL, HMV, and GGS and 11 universities like Punjab University Chandigarh and GNDU Amritsar participated in the event.
A total of 20 Multi National Companies visited the Campus and thoroughly tested the students through three tough rounds of Group Discussion, Written test and Personal Interview. On Day One the Campus was visited by Airtel which selected 9, Artech, Noida selected 5, Policy Bazzar selected 31, Randstad (Johnson & Johnson , DABUR) selected 26, Synapse selected 10, Catalyst One selected 3, Trigma Software selected 17, IndoAsian Switch Gears , Noida selected 10, Grazitti Interactive selected 21 and Kidzania selected 5 students respectively. On Day Two, the Campus was visited by Solar lndia which selected 15, reliance Life Insurance which selected 15, Birla Life Insurance selected 16, Pingkasho which selected 14 , Beta Soft System which selected 9 and Eclerx selected 17 students respectively. The third and the final day witnessed the visit of Accurate Accounting services, Jalandhar which selected 15, GVK Transforms which selected 17, Beta Quotes, Dubai which selected 6 and Diyar Group which selected 7 students respectively. The highest pay package of 6 lakhs was offered by Diyar Group Quwait
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal of the Institution thanked the officials of IKG PTU for extending full support during the mega event. He also appreciated the hard work put in by the Training and Placement Cell of the Institution to collaborate with the leading MNCs to visit the campus. He congratulated the successful students for getting placed in a company of their choice. He also urged upon the students to give their best in the corporate sector and create a name for themselves and the Institution alike.
