3-Day sports carnival organised by Ludhiana Citizen Welfare Society in collaboration with Omaxe Ltd concludes

Ludhiana, October 31, 2019: The Ludhiana Citizen Welfare Society in collaboration with Omaxe Limited has organized a 3-day sports carnival from 28th to 30th October at Omaxe Royal Residency Play Grounds. There were more than 500 children from different schools of all over Ludhiana participated in different Sports Events. Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid MLA and Mr AS Ranga (Commissioner Custom and Central Excise) inaugurated the Sports Carnival. Sports Secretary Mr Pankaj Saxena has said that there were various Team Sports and Individual sports like Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball, Table Tennis, Skating Race, Cycle Race, and Athletics were organized. Where Boys and Girls from 5 Year age to 70 Year age group participated and won Prizes. First Prize in Table Tennis won by Hargun Kaur (Junior) Ashutish Doshi (Senior). In Cycle race first prize won by Mehar (under 12 years), Arjun (12 to 19 years) and Ravinder (above 19 years), Lawn Tennis Adity Doshi (Junior), Sameer (12 to 16 years) and Amit Sehgal (Senior Group) won the single matches. In Skating race first prize won by Mehan Khurana (Under 8 years), Arsh ( 8to12 years) and Akshat Dadwal ( 12 to 16 years). Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji were remembered in the ceremony followed by Prizes were given to Winners gracefully given by Mrs Mamta Ashu (Councillor) in a Grand function. Mrs Rita Sood (Advisor Lakshmi Ladies Club, Mrs Rajinder Kaur (Omaxe Ladies Club) were also distributed Prizes. Such a wonderful event was conceptualized and coordinated by Mr Kuljit Singh Sebia Chairman, Mr Vineet Handa President, Mr Arun Grover, Mr Rajinder Singh Dhawan, Mr Paramjit Singh Bhatia, Mr Vipin Jain.
