200 attend free multispecialty health camp at Patiala

Patiala: As many as 200 people attended a Max Super Specialty Hospital Mohali free multispecialty health camp at Bir Dasondi Ram Community Centre, Model Town, Patiala on Thursday.

The camp was organised in association with Senior Citizens Welfare Association, Model Town, Patiala.

A team of doctors including Dr Pushkin Sharma , Orthopedics, Dr. Ravikant Takhi , General Medicine, Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Gynaecology, Dr. Neha Sharma, Dietetics provided free consultations and addressed the healthcare needs of people during camp. Free tests including blood sugar, bone mass densitometry, spirometry (lung function tests) , PFT and ECG were also offered free of cost during camp.

During occasion. Dr. Sajal Kakkar, Sr Consultant- Radiation Oncology spoke on “Cancer Awareness: myths and reality”.
