Jalandhar, November 12, 2014: 14 students of CT Institute of Hotel Management got placed in leading five star hotel of the Country Radission Blu, Amritsar, 4 students got placed in Hyatt Amritsar while 2 students made their place in Spice Jet. As many as 150 students from 2015 passing out Batch of B.Sc H&HA, B.Sc. HMCT and BHMCT participated in the placement drives. Country Radission Blu conducted the drive at Shahpur campus while Hyatt at Maqsudan Campus of CT Group of Institutions.
The selection process of both the companies included three rounds following a personal interaction, group discussion and final interview on the basis of which Country Radission Blu recruited 12 students on the package of Rs.2 lakh, Hyatt recruited 4 students on the package of 2.25 per Annum and Spice jet on a pakage Rs. 3 lakh. Sheril Beotra, Human Resource Manager of Radisson Blu briefed the students about the company’s profile and made them aware that the company sought devoted and talented job-seekers.” They said, “CT Institute of Hotel Management provides best of the education to their students. They have always provided us the best employees’, this is the reason we have conducted this placement drives at their campus.”
Rohit Sarin (Principal CTIHM&CT) said that the department of Hotel Management leaves no stone unturned to ascertain 100% placement. Since the inception of the department, 100 % placement record is maintained by CT Institute of Hotel Management. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman of CT Group of Institutions congratulated the selected students and their parents. He conveyed his gratitude to all the faculty members for preparing their students to get good jobs and assured them every possible help to improve the academic environment of the campus.
It is to mention that 10 more students have been selected for the final interview round at JW Marriot, Chandigarh to be held at their premises in Month of November 2014. Students are also sitting for M.T&H.O.T program for the pool campus drive for Hotel The Grand New Delhi on 15th November.
