2-day training Programme on “Financial Management and PFMS”

Chandigarh, July16, 2018: The World Bank TEQIP-III Project Implementing Unit NPIU, Delhi organized a two day training Programme on “Financial Management and PFMS” at University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Chandigarh. The official of NPIU Mr.N.S.Agnihotri & Mr.Prateek Kandulna were welcomed by Prof.Sukhwinder Singh Coordinator TEQIP-III (UIET). In inaugural address Prof. Savita Gupta, Director UIET emphasized the need to follow World Bank Guidelines for utilization of the funds in a judicial & transparent manner. Delegates from 28 participating Institutions from UT, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand along with 3 SPIU's took part in the event. The participants were appraised about the Financial Management and PFMS as per World Bank Guidelines. On First day, Mr. N. S. Agnihotri interacted with participants and queries regarding implementation of TEQIP-III were discussed and answered satisfactorily.
