2-Day Annual Concert and Fete begins at Cambridge International School

Jalandhar, December 21, 2018: Cambridge International School has set a bench mark in imparting quality education to its students by devising innovative teaching learning methods . As a result excellent results are given by students year after year. Cambridge as an educational institute envisages to empower the young minds not only with knowledge but also wisdom and vision so as to create enlightened citizens of tomorrow . Cambridge International School has always acknowledged the efforts of the students and given a pat on their back to continue on their quest for excellence. In order to motivate the students to maintain the level of performance and to keep soaring high, Annual Concert and Fete was organized in Cambridge International School, Jalandhar on December 21 and December 22, 2018.
The Chief Guests for the ceremony were the alumni of Cambridge International School Mr. Lakshay Bhardwaj and Mr Geet Maheshwari who have carved a niche for themselves in the world .
The concert commenced with the lighting of the lamp and floral welcome of the Chief Guests . The students presented a memorizing cascade of performances like Classical Dance, Choir Shabad Gayan followed by award ceremony for Excellence in Academics and in Sports and Scholar’s Awards for the year 2017-18. The students also presented the Annual Report highlighting the achievements of the students in Curricular and Co- Curricular activities of the year. The concert concluded with an energetic Bhangra performance.
Cambridge not only believes in holistic development of its students but has always strived hard in spreading happiness through sharing and the joy of giving under ‘WE Care Project’. The students of Cambridge International School, Jalandhar organized ‘Annual Carnival’ which started on 21st December. This two day carnival aims at entertaining the parents and students while inculcating entrepreneurial skills in them. .An array of stalls starting from Crinkle the Pringle, Nail Art, Tatoos, Fish the Ball, Polka Dots, Rocket Blast, Untangle the Bangle, Treasure Hunt, Art and Photography, Tambola and SOCH, an NGO initiative were set up. The motive of Soch stall is to create awareness about Autism and to sell the products created by students of Special Needs Department which helps to instill values like compassion, tolerance, sense of humanism and a deep concern for others as these are a few attributes that define an individual beyond his academic accomplishments. The fete was enjoyed by everyone as they relished the savories in sun and played games in the varied stalls.
On this occasion, Chairman LWES Mr Ajay Bhatia, Vice Chairman LWES Mr Nitin Kohli, President LWES Mr. Deepak Bhatia, Senior Executive Director LWES Mr J.K Kohli, CEO LWES Dr Brijesh, Members of School Management Ms Mona Bhatia and Ms Pooja Bhatia, Chief Academic Officer LWES Ms Deepa Dogra, Members of Secretariat LWES Ms Geeta Mahajan, Ms Meenu Huria, Ms SmitaVerma congratulated the school for putting up a grand show. They expressed their exhilaration at the success of this event. They also congratulated the students and wished them luck for their future endeavours.
