14th National annual techno-cultural fest “Parivartan 2019” of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran concludes

The 14th National Annual Techno-Cultural fest “Parivartan 2019” of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran concluded today with a series of technical, non-technical and cultural events which saw the participation of various schools and colleges across the region. Cash prizes worth Rs.10 Lakh were given to the winners. Along with this, 43 Awards of Appreciation and 57 Best Worker Awards were presented to the long serving non-teaching employees of CGC Landran for their loyalty and dedication for serving from past 15 years. A special live Sufi night by Satinder Sartaaj which was performed on day one energized the audience for their presence and participation on the second day as well. The fashion show event in the cultural category aligning with the theme of the event ‘One for All, All for one’ was the main highlight and GGDSD College was crowned the winner of the ramp walk followed by the host college, CGC Landran as the runner up. In the technical category, SCD Government College came 1st in the science Olympiad, Gulzar group of Institute won all the 3 positions in the Robo-war competition, while MCM DAV took a lead in the Poster Making Competition. School students also took part in the same category where Gurunank public school took a lead in Innovative Cooking Fire. In the non-technical category, DAVIET Jalandhar came 1st in the Dance competition while, GGDSD performed Luddi and came 2nd.
