124th Foundation Day of Punjab National Bank celebrated with great fanfare in District Kapurthala

Kapurthala, April 13, 2018: 124th Foundation Day of Punjab National Bank was celebrated with great fanfare in District Kapurthala.
The day was started by paying tributes to the founders of PNB, Punjab Kesri Lala Lajpat Rai and Sadar Dayal Singh Majithia by Shri PN Trivedi, Circle Head Kapurthala.
Thereafter, a Walkathon was organised in Kapurthala City. A contingent of more than 100 PNBians and PNB Rseti Kapurthala trainees holding banners/placards and tricolour balloons led by Circle Head Shri PN Trivedi started Walkathon from Circle Office Kapurthala which culminated at iconic Sainik School Kapurthala. The Walkathon was received by PNB veterans and tricolour balloons were released in the air after a brief addresses by Circle Head Shri PN Trivedi and Sh VK Sachdeva, Circle Head(retired) Sri Ganga Nagar. The atmosphere was electrifying and full of emotions.
Thereafter a Blood Donation camp was organised at Circle Office Kapurthala in which 53 Donors were turned up of which blood of 36 Donors was taken by District Red Cross team. The enthusiasm of young PNBians to donate blood was remarkable exhibiting unique PNB spirits that give PNB numero uno position in Indian banking Diaspora.
